This privacy policy sets out how Thumb & Fore handles your “personal information” and other “non-personal information” that we gather about you in relation to our games, websites and services (“Services”). If you access our Services, you agree to this privacy statement which forms part of our broader Terms of Service (“TOS”).
This policy refers to Thumb & Fore as “Thumb & Fore”, “we” or “us” and to you as “you”.

- what information (often referred to as ‘data’) is collected from you;

- with whom your information may be shared;
- how you can access, update, or delete your information.
We will comply with all relevant and applicable legislative requirements, and, in the event of any inconsistency, the legislative requirements will override the provisions of this document.
Children
Thumb & Fore does not target our Services to children under 13 years of age. If you access our Services and we discover that you are a minor or do not meet our age threshold, we may limit, suspend or terminate your access to our Services where we believe it to be necessary due to regulatory or platform requirements..
What Data Do We Collect?
We collect data in three ways:
- Data collected automatically;
- Data you provide us, and
- Data collected by our partners
Where required by guiding privacy legislation (e.g. Global Data Protection Regulation) or where we choose to act proactively, we explicitly ask you for your consent to use your data for a set of purposes. Where not required by guiding privacy legislation, you consent under the terms of this privacy policy. Any data collected is done solely for internal uses that are related to your relationship with us. We will never sell your data to a third party or partner.
Data Collected Automatically
Certain data is collected automatically through accessing or interacting with our Services.
- Information about how you use our Services (e.g. game progress, pages visited etc)
- Data about your device, such as device name and operating system, browser type and language;
- Cookies (particularly for web-based interactions) for which you consent and which you can control through your internet browser and similar tools, and
- Your IP addresses, and mobile device identifiers (such as your device ID, advertising ID, MAC address, IMEI). Please note, there are ways to prevent this through third party service providers.
Data You Provide Us
We collect and store your email when you sign up for our communications or enter a consumer promotion, or where you nominate to specifically allow our Services to collect your name and your email. We will also keep your contact details if you contact us for a particular purpose.
When you opt in to join our mailing list for the purpose of receiving our newsletter, we will use that to provide you with direct marketing communications about upcoming games, features of our websites and other events and promotions related to our products & Services.
You may unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time via the link in the footer, or by letting us know in writing via email to hello@thumbandfore.com that you want to be removed.
If you wish to receive promotional information from us, you will be asked to provide your email address to us. This information is gathered by a third-party partner that collects and compiles that information for us so that we may undertake broadcasts to large numbers of people.
Data We Collect From Our Third-Party Partners
To operate and manage our services we need to use third party service providers from time to time. A list of those parties can be found in this privacy policy. The type of information we might collect from them includes:
- Data we receive if you link a third-party tool with the Service (such as logging in via Facebook, or Google);
- Demographic data (to determine the coarse location of your IP address (e.g. city/region)
- Data from platforms that the Services run on; and
- Data for advertising and analytics purposes.
How Do We Use The Data We Collect?
Data collected can be personal to you or non-personal, and sometimes data that doesn’t appear to be personal can become personal if certain other facts are learned. No matter how we come to collect your data, we will always treat it in accordance with this document, and any applicable legislation.
Storing & Accessing Information On Your Device
We store and access information (such as your game progress) on your device and in some instances within Cloud Services in order to enable you to continue gameplay across more than one session. We may also store any access preferences that you set such as whether to allow features such as music, sound effects or vibration, or settings such as your preferred language. We may also record and store content timers to ensure that the frequency of our messaging is not unreasonable
Creating profiles & selecting personalised content for those profiles
Some of the information we store and access is used to create a profile with a unique PlayerId for personalising your content experience. This includes games you are currently or have previously played, In Game Items and your Player Name.
Measuring Performance
Key behavioural actions you take whilst interacting with our Services may be logged with Analytics platforms for analysis. With your explicit or implied consent, these actions can be linked to a unique pseudonymous Id and used to develop and improve our Services. In some cases, we may combine information about you that we have collected from multiple sources.
Providing Help & Support
If you contact us with a comment or query, we keep a copy of any personal information you provide. This is so that we can respond to your comments and questions as a part of our commitment to providing you with player support. If you contact us directly for any reason, we may also keep a copy of that correspondence.
Your Data & Third-Party Providers
Apart from us, your data is accessible by our third-party providers in the following circumstances. Some of our business partners are located outside of Australia. Below is a list of some, but not all partners that we may share user information and site usage data with.
Our games includes services from third-party providers such as functionalities through application programming interfaces (APIs), Software Development Kits (SDKs) and in-app advertising. These third-party providers may access your data and operate under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before interacting with our Services.

Advertisements from third party ad networks may be displayed in our Services from time to time. All reasonable endeavours are used to ensure that these ad networks comply with all applicable legislation in the provision of their services towards us. If you click on any advertisements through our game, the advertisers may use cookies and other web-tracking technologies to collect data, to provide targeted advertisements to you. We recommend that you review the terms of use and privacy policy for any advertiser with whom you are interacting before doing so. Our Ad Networks include:

Opting Out of Targeted Advertising
You can opt-out of interest-based advertising on mobile applications by checking the privacy settings of your Android or iOS device and selecting “Limit Ad Tracking” (Apple iOS) or “opt-out of interest-based ads” (Android). This will also prevent mobile device identifiers from being collected. Users in geographies seeing Our Consent Form can opt out of targeted advertising by removing consent for a specific purpose (“Create profiles for personalised advertising” & “Use profiles to select personalised advertising” ) or a specific Vendor.
Collection of Other Non-Personal Information
Some non-personal information may be gathered while you use our Services. Non-personal information is general, non-identifiable and anonymous information that is gathered for statistical, analytical and research purposes such as the improvement of our games (for example, bug fixes).
Though we do not use cookies in order to track your movement around the web, our website (https://thumbandfore.com) and games use Google Analytics & Google Analytics for Firebase to help analyse how users use our Services.
Our use of Google Analytics includes the use of Consent Mode v2 which by default blocks all collection and transfer of personal information in geographies for which analytics consent is required by law. Only when consented to (or in geographies where consent is not required for analytics purposes) will we allow the collection, creation and transfer of unique identifiers which require storage of information on your device/s.

Accessing, Deleting & Correcting Your Personal Information
Regardless of how we come in contact with your data, you have the right to request access to any personal information we hold about you. You may request access by contacting us via email at hello@thumandfore.com. If at any time you believe that personal information about you is incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate, you may request that we amend such information. If we refuse your request, we will provide you a written notice which will outline the reasons for such refusal and the complaint mechanisms available to you.

Player Accounts within our games include a Delete Account function within the main menu, which when requested will sign you out and delete your stored player data from our Cloud Servers and from your device. Game Data referencing your PlayerId will continue to exist but will be anonymised and not traceable back to you.
Data Subject Requests
In the event that you send a data subject request to us, or one of uur third-party partners informs us that you have contacted them directly about your personal data they collected while you were using our Service, we will respond to that request in accordance with any applicable legislation.
Disclosure & Security Of Your Information
We will not sell, trade, rent or disclose any of the personal information you provide to us for any reason, without your prior consent. Otherwise, your Personal Information will only be disclosed where required or allowable by law.
Your Personal Information is stored offsite in a manner that reasonably protects it from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
